What is skin tightening?

What are the risks of skin tightening?
Skin tightening treatments are extremely safe when administered by qualified practitioners, and provided you’re a good candidate. Certain pre-existing medical conditions may prevent you from receiving treatment; this will be discussed with you during your initial consultation.
How long do the results of skin tightening last?
The results of skin tightening treatments are cumulative, and will continue to improve for three to four months following your treatment. Skin tightening effects are long-lasting, but as your face and body continue to age, additional treatments may be recommended to maintain results.
Skin Tightening
Skin tightening treatments are extremely comfortable, and typically last no more than 30 minutes, depending on the area being treated. During your treatment, the applicator will slowly get warmer until your skin reaches the required temperature for skin tightening; many patients compare the sensation to a relaxing hot stone massage.
There is absolutely no downtime associated with skin tightening treatments. The area treated may look slightly flushed and feel warm to the touch, but this should subside within one to two hours. You can return to your day-to-day activities immediately following treatment.
When it comes to skin rejuvenation, in-office treatments are one piece of the puzzle. To achieve the best possible result, we highly recommend pairing your treatments with complementary skincare that can be used at home before, between, and after your treatments to first prepare your canvas, then boost and maintain your results.
