How does microneedling work?
Microneedling creates a series of tiny pricks along the skin to trigger the body’s natural healing process. As the skin is punctured, collagen production ramps up to rejuvenate skin from deep within the surface.
Why would I choose microneedling?
This treatment is a great option if you’re looking to completely rejuvenate the appearance of your skin without downtime or surgery. It’s quick and effective, with long lasting results.
As we age, our bodies naturally produce less collagen and elastin; this can cause laxity, scarring, dullness, and other unfavourable skin symptoms. By creating new channels to collagen, microneedling is a way to trick the skin into cell turnover and skin rejuvenation. What does microneedling feel like?
This treatment may cause some slight discomfort, but generally isn’t regarded as being painful or hard to bear. We use a numbing cream that virtually eliminates any discomfort during the procedure. The punctures created are so tiny that they feel like miniscule pinpricks against the skin. Most patients notice some mild redness following treatment which generally subsides within 24 hours.
