Meet the Team: Cierra

Next up in our team series, we’re featuring the one-of-a-kind Cierra! When she’s not filming amazing videos for our social channels, she’s hard at work looking after surgical patients as Dr. Jalil’s administrative assistant. Read on to learn more about her role…and some of her hidden talents!

Hi Cierra! Tell us a little bit about what your day to day looks like at FORM.

My days usually never look the same, which is why I love what I do! Some days are quiet and I mainly work on processing doctor referrals and paperwork; however, some days are very busy and I am either on and off the phone or checking people in and out of their appointments.

What drew you to the plastic surgery industry?

I initially started out working in a medical spa thanks to a good friend of mine, and from there I started to gain an interest in the surgical side of things which then led me to FORM!

What’s it like working with Dr. Jalil and his patients?

I like working with Dr. Jalil because he is very thorough and is always available for his patient’s needs. He is open and honest and never leaves a question unanswered. His patients have nothing but great things to say about him, and I always have a great time speaking with them and helping them with their surgical journey.

What does great patient care mean to you?

Great patient care to me is making sure each patient feels truly taken care of, every step of the way. From the moment we receive their referral to when we see them in follow-up, I always try to anticipate their needs. I feel my role is important because it is a reflection of the surgical care they are going to receive.

Have you tried any of the treatments at the clinic?

I have definitely tried every non-surgical treatment we have in the clinic…for research purposes of courses!!

Do you have any hidden talents?

Yes I do, I am a dancer and choreographer! I’ve been dancing since I was a little girl and I used to compete regularly. I still dance and have recently started teaching dance as well!

We heard you did everyone’s makeup on the last team photoshoot – how did you get into makeup?

Due to my dance background, I have always loved makeup because of having to wear it on stage. I started to teach myself how to do my own makeup and then I started practicing on friends. After high school I got my first makeup gig doing my teacher’s makeup for her wedding, and from there my passion started to grow. I decided to get certified which led me to working at a few different beauty counters in department stores. Makeup will always be a passion of mine and I definitely will continue to explore it in my free time.

What are the top songs on your playlist right now?

To be honest I love all different kinds of music so I usually don’t listen to a playlist! I just put my phone on shuffle and whatever plays, plays!

If you could choose a team-building exercise that everyone at FORM had to participate in…what would you pick?

I would definitely pick an all-inclusive vacation on a beach somewhere. I think we all deserve it!
