Dr. Ron B. Somogyi, (MD, MSc, FRCSC), and Waqqas N. Jalil, (MD, FRCSC) have decades of experience, training, and proficiency in Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Somogyi and Dr. Jalil first met while working at North York General, where they connected over a firm resolve to provide patients with superior care in an environment where they felt holistically respected and cared for.
Their education and experience make them uniquely qualified to deliver beautiful, balanced results every time.
Dr. Somogyi completed two fellowships in Melbourne, Australia focused on microsurgical breast reconstruction and all aspects of aesthetic plastic surgery. There he leaned unique and innovative techniques that he brought back to his patients in Toronto. He has been full time at North York General since 2014, maintains privileges at Women’s College Hospital, and is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Surgery at UofT.
Dr. Jalil completed a fellowship in New York City at the world-renowned Manhattan Ear Eye Throat and Lennox Hill Hospital. He trained with world leaders and innovators in Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeries. He began his career when he graduated with honours at UofS and went on to complete an intensive plastic surgery residency training program at UofM.
